Due diligence

Questions procurement teams ask

These are the six questions we are asked most often by procurement and vendor management teams.

Are you licensed to carry out the work yourself?

Yes. We hold a general construction licence for telecommunications construction in our own name, and we assign a qualified chief engineer to site. We do not work under a licence held by another company.

Do you subcontract?

Design, installation and commissioning are carried out by our own employees. Where a trade sits outside our licence, such as base building electrical work, we specify and supervise it. Any supplier we do use is held to our Supplier Code of Conduct.

Who will be on our site?

Employees of mtc, all of whom are residents of Japan holding valid work status. We can provide a named list with roles before mobilisation if your building or your own policy requires one.

Where is our data held?

Project documentation is held in our own systems. Personal information is handled under our Privacy Policy, which states what is collected, who it is shared with and how long it is kept.

Do you have an anti-social forces clause?

Yes. Our position is set out in the Anti-Bribery, Anti-Corruption and Anti-Social Forces Policy, and we are willing to sign the representation and warranty a client brings to us on the point.

How do we raise a concern?

Write to compliance@milestonetc.asia. Concerns are directed to the Representative Director. We do not retaliate against anyone who raises one in good faith, whether or not they work for us.
